In its recent Fresh Faces in Fashion, New York based Gen Art, delivered its decade tradition of successfully showcasing quality emerging talent. Over a 1,000 guests attended the elite event held at San Francisco's Regency Center. Gen Art SF's Ariane McLean & Lateefah Gainey were instrumental in producing a dramatic show on the very long 70ft runway. Fashion highlights of the select and talented designers Fall 2004/Spring 2005 collections follow:
Oliver Twist's Christopher Enuke, Gen Art Alumni, opened the show with various pieces of his cotton rich lines. The designer, along with his wife Amy Enuke, creates denims of various sexy architectural cuts matched with his infamous quality knitwear.
Christopher Enuke, Nigerian born but raised in England, studied at the Otis Parsons School of design in Los Angeles and his label has attracted loyal and celebrity clientele including Nicole Kidman, Gywneth Paltrow, Cameron Diaz, and Reese Weatherspoon.
